How to Convert Video to Play on Zune
November 22nd, 2006
So you’ve got video you’ve downloaded from the Internet or uploaded from your video camera that you’d like to transfer to your new Video Zune but you’re asking “how the heck do I convert the video to Zune’s MP4 format?”
This is a common question that people across the world have. Many Internet videos and video camera files are in a format like .avi, .mpg, .wmv or some other video format. To play on your video Zune, they need to be converted to MP4 format.
Below is a quick tutorial for converting these files (and others) to MP4 format. A really simple way to do it is to use a program like Cucusoft’s Zune Video Converter.
Step #1 — Open Up Cucusoft Zune Video Converter (Download a free trial here)
Step #2: — Select the button “Open file” to open the files you want to convert.
Step #3 — Click the button “Output” to set the output folders. Step #4 — Click the “Convert” button to start the converting.
That’s it! You’re done. Now just upload the video to your Zune and you’re ready for viewing.
